In my earlier post I asked for help with best place to sell furniture and decor items. Two in particular. My blue table and my fancy chalkboard. I went ahead and listed the table for $100.00 on Craigslist. I hope this is a fair price.
I can not wrap my head around how much to list the chalkboard for and would it be a better Etsy, Craigslist or eBay listing? Please be honest and help a girl out. Scroll down for picture. I am trying to keep the picture off the Dashboard so that I may get better response. Don't want you guys to think I am bragging about it. LOL

I would try them all! The number for the chalkboard that popped into my head was $35 to $40. I am always looking for a deal on Craigs personally. I try to find something for cheap that I can fix up, but some may just be looking for items they want already prettied up.
For me, Craigslist is the way to go. I haven't yet tried Etsy, 'cause I'm skeered of shipping (I don't know why.) Lot's of people I know have had success with Etsy. You do end of having to price things lower than you may like to on CL, but I've made some really good contacts for custom orders off CL, and once in a while the perfect customer comes along who totally gets what you're trying to do and buys a boat load! That's always nice. I tried having a "furniture sale" yard sale, and that was a total bust. Hope that helps! I think $40 for the chalkboard on CL would be completely reasonable to ask.
Oh my gosh, I wish I could help you. I struggle with the same thing! My problem, and I'm sure you understand, I look at something and think "oh, I could make that", so I never would pay "full price" for something. But there are tons of people out there that do. I'm sure you'll find people that love your stuff, I sure do. Good luck. Let us know what you end up doing, I'd like some pointers!
I would start with Craigslist - for at least $40. I am sure it will sell - it is super unique. Let us know what you decide and how quickly it sells!
