Don't you just love a good bargain. I was at Goodwill and saw this ugly group of candle bases. What got my attention was that they were half price....I know.....I had no idea that they ever did half price.
The sticker was 6.00 so I got it for $3.00 squeal
If you guessed that the next thing to happen was grab a can of ORB you would be correct!
Ok....here comes the goodness...oh my
I know! I love hemp too! around...around....around.....around
I know...there is plastic still on the candle. That is cause it is one I am going to use for this fall.
I liked this one so much that I rushed back to get as many as I could snatch away from anyone buy.
To my sadness others too thought they were either pretty or had potential, so I was only able to get two more. Here is what I have done with one of the others.
Tada!
This may be what I start my Etsy site with. What do you think?

Very nice! I have been working with burlap and jute this week and just can't seem to get enough of it. I love texture.
I found you from your comment on Cindy's blog about her helping the lady. Come by my blogs for a visit when you can. I have a Bible Study blog also.
Blessings for a wonderful Easter.

Great makeover! It looks amazing now! Got to love those GW finds!
wow! genius! and i didn't know GW had half-off either!
Those are great! I have to admit, I probably would have just walked by them, but I love what you did with them!

I think you rock! What great "vision" to see that poor mismatched looking thing for the fabulosity underneath!
Those look fantastic wrapped in hemp the way you did. I always think of painting things, and sometimes of the possibility with paper and decoupage medium, but I would never ever have thought of this. Thanks for sharing!
Nice work and good eye. I had no idea GW did half off days. You would think that as often as I visit, I would have hit one by now!
Love those!
Ooooh, great re-do, so rustic and elegant at the same time!
Hugs, Lana
I like what you've done - they look great!
Those look so good!
I love the jute! I don't know that I would have thought to use it like you did - it looks awesome! I used jute on a goodwill find too. http://attemptingtobecrafty.blogspot.com/2010/04/my-mantel-before-and-after.html Great job!
What a fabulous transformation! I love the jute! Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing at the Sunday Showcase Party! I greatly appreciate it! Hope you have a great week! ~ Stephanie Lynn
